Dental anesthesiology advice/help

Long story short, I had a previously undiagnosed health problem that negatively impacted my GPA. I did my best to raise my GPA but I still don’t think I’m competitive enough to apply to DA program right now (waiting my my grades for this semester so right now I’m slightly below a 3.0 ). I’ve been exploring my other options. Right now I’ve looked into the DA fellowship at IU, GPR programs and just recently OMFS internship programs. Obviously, I’m the most interested in the DA fellowship then OMFS internship programs because I want to do something with heavy anesthesia experience and minimal traditional dentistry. Advice?
