YES, THEY CAN GO TO YOUR WEBSITE AND GET SOME INFORMATION. BUT I HOPE THAT THEY DO NOT FALL FOR THE ADERTISEMENT ON YOUR WEBSITE THAT YOU ARE SELLING NBD MATERIAL FOR LOW PRICES. BECAUSE YOU AND I KNOW THAT THIS IS ONLY A SCAM THAT I PERSONALLY FELL INTO. BUT THAT IS FINE, I TOLD YOU THAT I WON'T LEAVE YOU ALONE UNTIL YOU SEND ME THE $515 THAT YOU TOOK FROM ME FOR NBD 1 MATERIAL. BELIEVE ME IT IS NOT THE MONEY ANYMORE, BUT I AM HOPING THAT OTHER PEOPLE DO NOT FALL FOR THAT SAME NASTY SCAM THAT I FELL INTO DDDRRR QURESHI (IF YOU ARE EVEN ONE!! I DOUBT IT!!) 😡

Is that true ... Even I've heard about this from other ppl .. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

This guy (Osamah) is a complete embarassment to foreign trained dentists who are sincere in their attempt to obtain US licensing. First we went through his posts bad-mouthing the American system for licensing foreign trained dentists - he felt he should be able to just get a license even though he could not even put a sentence together in English. Then he was advertising illegally copied Dental Board prep materials - he said he didn't live in the US and was not subject to the laws. Now he is ripping people off with scams.
HR:He says he is no longer in the US, but I bet he is. Shouldn't be too hard to track down if you really want to. The key is to start a criminal investigation on him and let the police find him.
Try this address: <a href="http://www.usps.gov/websites/depart/inspect/" target="_blank">http://www.usps.gov/websites/depart/inspect/</a>
It's for the Postal Inspector's Service. They like to go after fraud that was somehow furthered by use of the US Mail.
There is also the New York State Attorney General's office. They should have an Internet fraud office as well.
I also would not forget the INS.
How do I know this stuff? I Dealt with a bad Ebayer a while back...
Good luck.

I also have been defrauded by Osamah, for the amount of $165. I gave him a deadline of tomorrow to either give me the UPS shipping confirmation number or agree to refund me. I will be out of town for a week, and if he doesn't get back, I'll take it a step further and call both the Dept. of Justice (they have a division that deals with internet fraud) and INS.

I am also ashamed of what he is doing. He not only took my money, but he cost my wife and I a month of study time.

By the way, my wife, a licenced dentist in a foreign country, is in the process of applying to schools in the US so she can eventually obtain a DDS. I'm acting on her behalf until she gets here. Perhaps in the future, we'll be able to be a constructive member of this newsgroup. But for now, I have two goals: to get my money back, and/or see to it the Dr. Majeed Qureshi is treated to the proper consequence of his actions.

Oh, I was able to get his current address and phone number. I won't post it here because that wouldn't be appropriate. I also have his bank account number that might also be of use. Also, his online resume indicates memberships several dental organizations.

I think a collective effort might go farther, but I am not sure in what way. Does anyone know the best way to deal with this legal issue?

Brian

Kramer,

I bet we are not the only people scammed by this guy. This guy is a scam artist and he should be banned from posting his message any where on the internet. One the other hand, please send me an email I will share with you all the information that I gathered about this guy and how I will put him behind bars.
