Dental School GPA - how to calculate?

I see people mention their science GPA and over-all GPA. Is your science GPA calculated from only the classes that Dental schools looks at (chem, o-chem, bio-chem, bio, phys, etc)?

Is then, your over-all GPA the GPA you graduated with from college?
