Will a fair amount of dental schools accept core/overwhelming majority of courses being taken at a junior college.
My current plan is to complete a dental hygiene program through a community college and take prerequisites for dental school to keep that as an option. I am fearful of going into the dental hygiene field in regards to a obtaining a full time job and lack of benefits.
I was studying environmental science and chemistry at Iowa State then dropped out after my sophomore year with a 3.41. I have a 3.9 at the community college with half my core courses for dental school finished. After I get I complete the dental hygiene program I will go to another university for a year and get a degree in healthcare management, so I am more so concerned with the courses being taken at a junior college.
