I have noticed that there is a limit to put all your dental / shadowing actvities and extracurricular/ Volunteer/ Community service activities. My question is in which section do I put all my dental related activities (I volunteered at). Should I list my dental healthcare related activities under dental / shadowing actvities or Volunteer activities?

I think it depends,

if you did like, basketball for 3 years for your EC, then yeah, shadowing hour is more value.

But if you have experience you were in Force Recon, Marine and you were super skilled sniper there, that's different story.

so I think it depends on..what you did.

But in same depth, same hours, same value, I assume that shadowing is more important since that's part of dentistry field.

I agree to an extent. Playing a sport through college and still balancing all else shows that you're dedicated and can manage your time. If you have to choose one or the other, yes do the shadowing

Shadowing means watching a dentist at work.
If you did something other than shadowing, even if its dental related, it would still go under the volunteering category.

If they are dental related they would fall under the dentistry/shadowing experience section rather than the extra curricular/volunteer/community section.

In the dentistry/shadowing experience section you can clearly describe what type of position you held by checking off one or more to describe it.

Shadowing, Volunteering , Paid or Other.

The extra curricular/volunteer/community section is more or less reserved or non dental related stuff. Like working at a shelter or something.

I believe you're limited to 10, so just listed the ones you feel are most important.

I observed dentisat for two year ...and got hand on....but also did a lot of other dental volunteering ......so thank you all I got the point.
