dentistry degree = > permanent resident?

i am an international student currently studying in australia. i wonder if i finish a dentistry degree here, can i become a permanent resident of australia straight away? does anyone here have similar experience? thanks

Its a lot easier for a Dental or Nursing student to gain Permanent Residency than one studying Medicine. For one thing, once you finish the degree you are automatically a qualified Dentist. Medical students have to finish an internship year to be considered a qualified doctor, so you need a hospital to sponsor you. Another thing, Dentists make money, a lot more of it than Doctors even though we are going to have much bigger responsibilities.
 
thanks mate. another question, u said that a dental student will be a qualified dentist once finish bachelor degree, does that mean he pass the ADC exams in the university? thanks
