So, dentists who work/have privliges at the Cleveland Clinic are referred to as "physicians". Any thoughts or opinions?

Here's the link to the "Physician directory" http://www.clevelandclinic.org/dentistry/directory/

They're in the Physician's Directory but it never refers to them as physicians in the actual descriptions of the dentists. I guess they're in the physicians directory because they're involved in patient's medical care as doctors of different sorts. One of the dentists does prostydontics and dental oncology... I call my dentist doctor, even though he's not an MD. That's because he is a doctor.
