deposit deadlines

i'm leaving the country for a few weeks and was recently notified of acceptances by phone, but my packets haven't arrived yet. what should i do about the deposit deadlines? are schools flexible about this?

Some schools require you to respond to hold your spot w/n a 2 week margin while others automatically hold your spot until you tell them otherwise. I would call each school, notify them of your situation, find out their deposit/holding policy, and send payment. Have fun traveling
