Need some advice...

I have to send in my deposit($300!) for the school I was accepted at. But I am waitlisted at my first choice (which requires no deposit incidentally).

Should I call my waitlist school and tell them my predicament to help me get an acceptance?

yes..i did something similar and they accepted me the next day.....but in any case, 300 dollars is a good price for an acceptance!

    Hey Foxy,

What is exactly did you tell the admissions office? Did you speak with a secretary or someone else?

When the secretary answered the phone, I asked to speak tp a member of the admissions committee, but they were not available, so he transferred me to a director, and she put a note in my file, and she was the one to call me up the next day with the good news.....but I had found out right before that I was at the top of the waitlist and would get in eventually, so that prolly helped too.
