Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Clinical Research Fellowship Starting in July 2015– MD Required
The Program
The Center for Dermatology Research offers a unique opportunity to work directly with one of the world’s psoriasis experts, Dr. Steve Feldman, starting in July 2015. Dr. Feldman has authored over 700 peer reviewed publications as well as numerous books. Fellows will be immersed in every aspect of clinical research including clinical trials in the areas of psoriasis and cutaneous lupus, and writing review articles and retrospective studies. Fellows will also be able to collaborate with our other renowned faculty such as Dr. Joseph Jorizzo, a leader in medical dermatology and co-editor of the Dermatology textbook, and Dr. Amy McMichael, an expert on hair loss. Our fellows in the past have published numerous articles in well-respected journals and have been generally successful (knock on wood) in attaining a dermatology residency. The fellowship is extremely flexible, and fellows are able to tailor their experience towards their interests, with the utmost support and mentorship of amazing faculty. The atmosphere at the Wake Forest Department of Dermatology is friendly and collegial, with everyone on a first name basis. Wake Forest is located in beautiful and scenic Winston Salem, which has a lively and cultured Downtown area and has something to enjoy for just about anyone (though New Yorkers may find it a little slow).
Requirements
· MD Degree from a United States LCME accredited school
· Ideally 1 year internship completed (License eligible)
· CV
· Letters of recommendation are welcome, but not required
If interested, kindly email Dr. Feldman at [email protected].
