Dr. Brett King at Yale School of Medicine Department of Dermatology is accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Associate/2 year-fellowship. The Associate will work in a complex medical dermatology clinic, perform clinical research, and participate as a sub-investigator in clinical trials. This is a paid position, lasting 2 years.

Dr. King, MD, PhD is Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Yale School of Medicine. He has pioneered the use of JAK inhibitors in cutaneous diseases, in particular for alopecia areata, vitiligo, and atopic dermatitis, in addition to other disorders. All of medical students he mentored have matched into dermatology (Stanford, Yale, and UC Davis).

The time will be divided between an outpatient clinic focused on complex medical dermatology, clinical trials, and time devoted to clinical research. The clinical experience will provide exposure to the care and management of patients with severe skin disease, including alopecia areata, vitiligo, atopic dermatitis, autoimmune blistering disease, psoriasis, morphea, sarcoidosis, and other diseases. There will significant exposure to the use of immunosuppressants and biologics. As a sub-investigator in clinical trials, there will be significant time spent seeing patients and managing trials. The participant will conduct clinical research and complete publications.

The Postdoctoral Associate must be a physician. The estimated start time will be summer 2019.
