Did ANYONE else apply to UCSD's REU in Bioengineering program?

I'm hoping not so that I can get one of the 10 spots!

But really, did anyone apply? The decisions should be coming out soon ("early March"). I searched on SDN but only found one instance of someone bringing it up... I guess very few people from this board applied or maybe the program is just not as popular as others.

I'm really hoping I get into this... It would be amazing to go to UCSD and live with friends while doing this.
