Ok, so here it goes. I interviewed at UCLA about Oct 20ish. At the end of my two hour interview(I met with Dr. Fulco), my interviewer handed me 2 hazelnuts. On each of them the letters "UCLA" were handwritten in blue sharpie. I'm not kidding. Dr. Fulco then proceeded to tell me to feed the nuts to the squirrels on campus for good luck. Did anyone else get this treatment?
I thought it was more random then the medical school application process itself. After the 2 hour interview I sure did think it was different from anywhere else I have traveled. Dr. Fulco was incredibly nice and I enjoyed talking with him.
