Did everyone who got into G'Town receive a call before the letter?

I interviewed at Georgetown Nov. 1, got a call from my interviewer 5 weeks later letting me know I had been accepted, and then received the very thin envelope in the mail a few days later. Hope this helps and best of luck!!!

congrats! because i'm incredibly impatient (and paranoid), i was just wondering when your letter was dated/post-marked. thanks!

Just wondering if the letters that were sent out for georgetown on jan 11 (think that was in another post) are acceptances only or does georgetown send out all letters (acceptances, rejections, waitlists) at the same time. I'm curious because I haven't gotten anything in the mail from them and didn't get a call (interviewed dec, early) but know that other people in my state heard good news on friday. I'm trying to figure out if not getting anything in the mail means anything. Thank u! 🙄

hey, i found this thread from a few months ago:

http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=239097&highlight=georgetown

sounds like a lot of those people interviewed around the same time. the person rejected post-interview heard before those who were accepted. then, someone else who was accepted did not hear until a few weeks later.

i'm on long island, ny and it took my decision letter from gw about 5 days to get to my house. so, maybe i'll hear on tues or wed. i can't bare to wait much longer (if you couldn't tell). 😀

I don't know when my letter was postmarked b/c my brother opened it for me (sent to my parents' address). I didn't receive any phone calls of any kind after the interview.

good luck everyone 🙂
