EDIT OF TITLE: NOT PHYSICS, BUT ASTRONOMY

its listed as "astronomy" on my trasncript but on the AMCAS website for coursework FAQ it says
Physics (PHYS) - BCPM

·Astronomy
·Physics

so im curious if it did actually count from personal experience

Considering the fact that BCPM stands for "Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics" I think it would be safe to say that physics courses count in BCPM GPA.

whats the P stand for..

what do you mean your physics is listed as astronomy? is it astronomy or is it physics? it's about course content, not title.

no.

what i meant was i mistyped the title. my real question is "Does Astronomy count in your BCPM"

I've heard of people sneaking some weird things into their AMCAS BCPM...if it will significantly help your GPA it's worth a shot, but I'm pretty sure most med schools will count it, plus i'm sure some just look at the number so YMMV:)
