Hey guys in undergraduate I had the option to take this "survey biochem class" it was an upperdivision biochem class for people no emphasizing in biology (ie neur, micro, cell, develop etc). Since I was just a plain "straight bio" major I had the option of taking this "easier" one quarter class. Well now my question is will I eat **** in medical school cuz I didnt take the whole year of biochem that most of u guys took? I have friend who is in Davis who alsoa took this easier biochem class and he said that he feels that he was unprepared for medical biochem in med school?

what do u guys think...were some of u in the same boat as me??

Never got near biochem as an undergrad and did well in med school. The ones who did have biochem said it wasn't much help beyond the first 2wks.

I didn't take any biochem prior to med school and survived. Don't worry about it...you may have to study more than some of your classmates early on, but no biggie.
