difference in names?

is there a difference between any of the following names, such as degrees, programs, accreditation, etc?

College of Medicine
Medical School
Medical College
School of Medicine

i'd assume the "school of medicine" is just one of the schools offered at the university or college, whereas "medical college" is just one college only offering medicine....am i right? what, if any, are the other differences?

VERY often (perhaps universally?) D.O. schools will refer to themselves as College of Medicine. M.D. schools do sometimes too, though.
