Differences between Comlex and USMLE

Hi, I am trying to better understand the diffrence between Comlex and USMLE. Is there anyone who has taken both exams and can comment on what they perceive to be differences? I have heard anecdotally that the Comlex is more clinically relevant and less like the MCAT than the USMLE, however, I am somewhat ignorant to both examinations beyond that a D.O. student must take the Comlex, but may also take the USMLE. For someone who will be starting med school and perceives some weakness in comparrison to their own personal strengths with regard to standardized test taking, should Comlex vs. USMLE play into the decision as to which school to attend? Thank you in advance for your advice.
