Dinged by throwaway school. Is my AACOMAS primary still active?

I got dinged by my throwaway school within 45 minutes of them receiving my AACOMAS primary application (this was the expected result, which is why they are my throwaway school. I applied to get the verification ball rolling because I am taking the MCAT in July and wanted to be able send my primary to the schools I am actually interested in when my MCAT scores are back).

Is my AACOMAS still active at this point, since I got rejected by the only school I applied to? Can I continue with the original plan and add the other schools after I get my MCAT scores back, or do I need to apply somewhere else so that I can keep adding schools? I knew I was going to get dinged, but I thought it would happen after they had everything like my MCAT and LORs, rather than this early in the process.

Probably an automatic rejection by the computer system because they didn't have an MCAT score. Some programs (I don't know which ones) count the absence of an MCAT score as a score of zero, therefore automatic rejection

I wonder why. Seems super common to apply before the scores are in.

It is, but I think only a few schools have the computer screen the way I described while most schools just won't process the app until the MCAT score is attached. I am just assuming OP got a little unlucky. Honestly if he really wanted to he could probably call and they would potentially reconsider his app after his MCAT score comes in, he could just explain that he doesn't have one yet. I've heard of this happening.

I have no desire to attend this school. I was not going to fill out their secondary anyway. They were a true throw away school so that I could get everything verified so that when I get my MCAT scores back I can send my application with everything to the other schools immediately. It's no big deal.

When I looked over my application though, I did notice that when they verified it, AACOMAS listed some of my science prerequisites as "lecture only," rather than as "lab and lecture combined." I paid for the professional transcript entry service, so I did not enter this information myself and I was not able to see what they were calling lab courses and what they were not until after I approved the transcripts and it generated that .pdf that gets sent out to the schools. I am going to contact AACOMAS and have them fix it, because I bet that is what did it. They say general bio with no lab and thought I did not have the prerequisites.

I would say that isn't the issue because schools don't need you to have finished the pre-reqs before applying, only matriculation. I would place a large sum of money on the fact that it was the fact you didn't have an MCAT score.
