I'll go a couple of weeks feeling completely satisified with what I've done and what I'm planning on doing, and then, impulsively, I'll log on to the SDN forums just to become disheartened. I'm not sure if anyone else has felt this, but I find that the SDN forums do a good job of projecting these unrealistic ideas of what a premed person has to do, feel, act like, enjoy, ...

Less SDN for me from now on. Who's with me? 😳

i'm with ya.

stay away from sdn for a while and just relax. follow the plans you've made and don't worry about it later. 🙂

I feel that way too sometimes, but the majority of people on these forums are extremely intelligent, witty, and knowledgeable about the medical school application process (as well as other applications). It's been an invaluable resource thus far, and I'm taking the good with the bad.

And when it gets ugly, I take a trip to the Lounge. 🙄
