I have been recently been dismissed... seems like all doors have been shut in my face.... appeals being denied... i feel let down from a school that opened its arms to me in times of need. I have had medical and personal problems over the past year... I have to say it had a bearing on my academic problems.... I plan to take some classes this next fall at a state university but what next.... my DAT scores were high.... but i think I should retake them.... since i took them a few years back.... Im contemplating on not mentioning the idea of the previous history of dental school.... I know it is a huge risk.... but how can they find out... do dental schools do a regular background check on applicants... I've called dental schools and ADEA... and they tell me no.... but other then the record seen in the financial aid records... is there a way to find out a history of a school... if not mentioned in your application.... desparate measures for desparate times... please help me~~~ thanks for your time.

I'm sure that you could easily get away with not saying anything....but there is that risk. The risk is being admitted to a school, starting classes, and out of no where being pulled out because they found out about this hidden information. It has happened before for many different reasons...all stemming from not being 100% truthful on your application.
I however, do not seem to grasp why schools would not understand your situation. A medical problem is not your fault, and could not be avoided. Plus, the fact that you are attempting to rebuild your life should be viewed favourably.
I hope everything works out for you...and remember to keep a positive attitude.

Do not feel bad. There are lots of school famous for kicking out their students. I actually can guarantee you to be able to get in next year.
Just be truthful on your application. Tell them what really happened, but short (2 sentences). Then, retake the DAT (scores do expire) And retake classes that you failed in dental school.
Schools that are so forgiven, to reapply:
Temple
Louisville
BU
Howard (if you are african-american), should be able to get in with descent scores.
