Distance Education Athabasca university

Hi,
I am missing a lab component from the second biology course I took (many Canadian universities offer one intro bio with lab course only). I am planning to take BIOL 207 at Athabasca university. I can do a 40hr lab onsite. Does anyone know if there is any policy in US medical schools agains such courses?
