Hey Guys,

Sorry if this thread has already been made, but how in depth do we need to go with DNA technology? Should I just keep a broad overview or should I memorize everything?lol And is it me, or is this genetics chapter long and drawn out?! Thanks.

Yes it's a long chapter, especially if you are using TPR; EK made it short though.
I think whatever outlined on AAMC list is plenty of info to know just for DNA. I focused more on primary to quaternary structures, types of mutations, replication, transcription, etc. I don't think they expect us to know the major/minor grooves of DNA, as I read it somewhere (I think it was TBR).
