A friend of mine was telling me that he pulled a 30 hour shift in his first week as a 3rd year med student. I was shocked they made him take call just like residents. He said he wasnt sure that was common practice at all medical schools. Does anyone know if all medical schools make their M3 and M4 students take call ?
He said he wished he had gone to dental school instead. I think he was kidding but his face didnt look like he was kidding.
