Do AMCAS schools get to see where else we applied?

So this printing out the application and sending it off to all the schools doesn't bug me as much as the fact that I will need to go to Sproul plaza and pay for all my transcripts to be sent out. I have a question regarding what schools normally get to see. I applied to a lot of schools and I don't want every school to see where I applied and feel that I do not really want to go to a specific school. Do AMCAS schools get to see what schools we apply to? B/c when we print up the whole application, the schools then get to see all of our designated med schools. My friend did not include that page and she was called by one school to fax it to them so her application would be "complete"...is this fair? Do they normally get to see all this?

that is absolute bull crap if that is happening. amcas explicitly told me that we should NOT send the schools this in our xerox copies because their application, when fixed, would not. whatever school is telling you this should get their act together. which one is it?

but they said they needed it from her in order to see if she was applying to regular MD or if she was doing early decision.
I sent mine in with all the other schools listed on it. Oh well...I guess that kind of screws me 🙁 She did the same.
I was thinking of just putting paper over the other schools but oh well.
