Anyone know more about the hierarchy of med school admissions? I've been told that the "Director of Admissions" is the the person in charge, but most med schools have an "Assistant Dean of Admissions" listed (and they're usually the ones visiting undergrads to promote their schools, so when do they have time for actual admissions stuff?). Does the Dean of admissions just not want to be contacted by desperate premeds?
