*I meant to ask this in the pre-dental forums but no-one seems to hang around there too much lol

I'll be starting university this fall and am constructing a preliminary plan of my 4-year schedule. I was considering taking any of the pre-reqs over the summers of my freshman and sophomore years (calc 1, biochem, etc).

Do dental/med schools frown upon this?

*I know there are threads on this already, but they're from 2010.

Thanks much 🙂

The issue with summer courses for medical schools is the compressed time frame is perceived as rushed material and less rigor than regular term. So perceived rigor is the the issue similar to the perception of CC. So taking more than 1 or 2 prereqs in the summer isnt the best strategy
