Do dental schools mail or email stuff out?

Im afraid I wont find out anything about interviews if I dont put down my in state address ie permanent address. Do they do residency based only on permanent addy? Also are interviews invites emailed out or phone calls or snail mail?

almost all communication is taken through email. some schools send mail with email confirmation. and most rejections come in snail mail (which I don't think you want to get soon )
