Hello,

I am an older pre-med student (35). If a doctor works in Emergency, medicine for example, does the hospital pay for malpractice? Because I will be an older doctor, I might be content to work solely in a hospital instead of also having a private practice. Does the hospital pay for the insurance?

Yeah, If you are moonlighting you generally do get the malpractice covered by the people who hire you. For residents, definitely it's covered.
