Hello,

I understand that some schools expect a secondary to be completed within two weeks of sending the AMCAS. With this in mind, are many schools serious about this "deadline"? If I am considering applying to 20 medical schools, should I apply to them all at the same time or should I apply schools in bunches to afford more time to complete secondaries?

Thanks

Just add them all at once. Not all schools have time limits on secondaries, but even if they do, your application takes time to process, a period which is different amongst different schools. Some may automatically send you a secondary, while some may screen and give you a secondary later. I applied to over 20 schools initially and I felt I had time to turn in my secondaries. Just keep track of due dates for secondaries and try to get the ones without due dates back within a week or so.
