Hello everyone, this is my first post here. I have applied to some pharmacy schools and am hoping to get accepted.

Hopefully some people can let me know what it is I need to do. I still have to complete the spring semester for the schools I've applied to.

I worked in Retail pharm 2+ years as Tech.

GPA is 3.4
PCAT overall was 79
Org Chem I B

I am currently taking the labs for Org Chem and II lecture as well as other classes I need this semester.

I do have 5 withdrawals, most from one semester, all were before I chose to work toward pharmacy. I have a D and a F, on Gen Chem I Lab and Lecture, but I retook and got an A in lect, and a B in lab. They were my very first chem classes I had ever taken.

Thank you very much for your time and thoughts!!

That sounds competitive to me.

I am kind of curious why there are 5 - Q drops though? Have any familial problems prior hand? Partying 4 days a week?

I don't see how someone can get a D/F in Gen Chem though... it's basically a review of high school chem! But good job on bringing those up, some pharm. schools wont take anything lower than a C.

You're lucky you wont have to meet Physical Chemistry (Thermo) or Analytical Chemistry.

I think your fine. You overall GPA is good enough. I would just use the supplemental apps to explain why you have that many withdrawals and any other discrepancies on your transcript. Best of luck to you.

Looks like a classic case of a slow start and a strong finish (upward trend). I agree with other posters, you seem solid. I am curious what your actual science GPA is though, in respect to your cGPA. Also, what is your pre-pharmacy GPA? (Since not all sci. classes are pre-pharmacy pre-requisites).
