i finished my undergrad in 2011, ba in poli sci. since then ive had a change of heart and am considering p.a. or med school. didnt take any prereqs in undergrad, currently working on them now. i assume i'll have a slightly easier time applying to pa school, but im wondering is it worth it to even try for med school? i won't finish until im in my mid-30s if i do get in. cgpa at undergrad was 2.99. im hoping i can do really well in my prereqs and therefore have a much better sgpa once im done, but i just started taking courses and won't be done until probably spring 2014. is it even worth it to try for med school, or just try for pa school? haven't taken mcat/prepped at all. currently working at a doctor's office (albeit my father) but i am getting clinical experience - about 25 hours/week.

Medicine is a calling, like being a priest or a fireman. If it's truly what you want to do, you'll do it.
