hey guys~
I find this forum very informative ^^. I am a student from Canada
and have 3.27 overal GPA and 3.25 science GPA.
Here are my DAT scores

academic 20
perceptual 18
Quantitative 17
reading 21
Biology 21
General chem 23
organic chem 20
Total 21

Do you guys think that I have a reasonable chance of getting into
a dental school? I am thinking about rewriting DAT because of my quantative score. should I?
What do you guys think?

😕 😕😳 😳

Don't sweat it. I'm sure you'll get accepted to at least one dental school if not more. I have very similar stats as yours and I already have two interviews. Good luck!

I would not retake the DAT just because of a 17 in quantitative reasoning. Its still about average, plus it is probably the least important part of the exam.

Your marks are just fine. Once again, the key is to apply to the right schools.

I could see you applying to a certain set of 10 schools and not getting a single acceptance.

On the other hand, I could see you applying to a certain set of 10 schools and getting 5 or 6 acceptances.

You're good! I had a 17 in Quant! Schools don't look at that as much!
