I am 17 and I dropped out of high school a year ago. I have been working on getting my GED, and I know a lot of places prefer a diploma over a GED, but I was wondering if there's much hope in a dropout getting into med school. I had a 3.8 to 4.0 average for all of my school years and I was also pretty good at math. Not very well in science though, so I'm worried about that. Adding on to that, if I can get any links to articles that help with that kind of dealio, it would be MUCH appreciated!
I don't have any links or anything, but I can tell you that I have a good friend who is a PGY-2 resident at an academic program who also received his GED previously. So it can be done.
