Do I have the right idea in initally studying the DAT

This is my current idea of approaching the general chemsitry section of DAT:
I would review the chemistry, using Kaplan BB, just enough to be able to answer most of the questions found on Destroyer
Then I will do the problems found in Destroyer and whichever ones that I get wrong, I will review the tested concept using Destroyer, Kaplan, and accompanying textbooks.

Do I have the right idea in studying for general chemistry?

Review Chads videos first. Watch them once, take notes once, then memorize everything. Then do Kaplan BB, then do Destroyer. Whatever areas you are still weak in, pray.
