Do I have to know Phy. to take the DAT?

Hello
I did some courses on general che., organic che.,biology
I'm taking phy. on the fall
to do the DAT do I have to know phy.?
can I take the DAT now?

You sure can take your DAT if you feel ready now as no physics questions will be asked there. However, having a good physics background can often enhance your capability of doing the test well. It's a very conceptual subject, able to help expand your logic mindset and aptitude level. :)
 
Physics is not directly tested on the DAT. But, it comes into play in the gen. chem section on quantum mechanic model of atoms and the kinetic molecular theory of gases a bit. So, I would make sure that I studied those well.

physics may help you with QR as well. I've seen some simple physics questions in that section.
 
Nope you don't even need to have ever heard the word physics in your life to take the DAT, Just like you don't need to have ever taken any classes to take the DAT. However...it may help a bit to have the foundations that will be tested down cold. Good luck.
