Hi,
I remember someone saying here that I have to know which school i'm applying so that I can write down the school codes after taking the GRE. is it true? then is it not possible to send my scores after the test?
also, is it true that sending the scores up to three schools are free and after three, it costs money?

thanks!

First, are you still pre-dental?

Second, you need to know the codes to send to schools at your test date, but the computer will find the schools for you. So you really just need to know which places you're sending them to. You get 3 or 4 free reports to schools and can specify them at your test date.

After your test, and if you have additional schools to send to you can log in to the GRE website and send copies (again, they will have a list of the codes for you to search) for $23 a copy to the schools you still need it sent to.

ahh, thanks! no i'm not pre dental. I don't know how to change my status from this to pre vet..lol.. then is it okay to not send my scores to any schools and just log in to my GRE account to do it at home?

Doing it this way will no longer grant you free sending rights. You will be charged the 20 something dollars for every school you wish to send scores to. 👎

Oh, and you can fix this by clicking the MY ACCOUNT button on the grey bar near the top of the screen. From here click the EDIT YOUR DETAILS. The options for status are near the middle of all the options.

hi,
thank you all for the help. I am now looking at the schools, but i see I require "science electives" class in some schools such as Illiniois.. what is it??

and.. here is my stats since undergrad:
graduated UCD, majored in biosci with 2.51 GPA( I know it's horrible)
currently, attending grad school, majoring in molecular bio (GPA about 3.75) @ seoul national university
working at vet hospital for about two years..
have done some internships while I was in undergrad - botanical conservatory, ichthyology lab, dental, molecular bio, and hospital interpreter/

Am I a strong applicant to apply for UCD vet with such a low GPA?? 🙁

I'm thikin about sending my gre scores to cornell, davis, colorado, UofPenn, Wisconsin, Illinois, and purdue
oh, forgot to mention that I look forward to study "small animals"

any suggestions??

thanks!
