Hi, first time poster long time lurker. I was wondering what my chances are getting into medical school.

Stats:

Fl resident
disadvantaged
Cuban

3.0 at cc
4.0 at uni
Mcat- 38Q ( 14 bs, 14 ps, 10 V)
7 w's, 2 d's, 3 c's, 2 b's, the rest A's

50 hours shadowing IM. *only doctor I personally now*
2 years volunteer basketball coach
Tutor chem, biology for 2 years
200 hours volunteer at hospital.

Reason for W's and bad grades were due to me working 2 jobs and not havingtime for school. I live with my mom who is unable to work due to her medical condition. Grew up with no dad, and worked since I was 15.

What are my chances at any medical school. I don't care if its MD OR DO. As long as I become a Doctor.

You have a great chance.. I'd bet on you getting in multiple places.

38 MCAT is awesome, good job.

Sounds like you have an upward trend which is good. As a URM with a 3.5 cGPA and 4.0 sGPA and 38 MCAT you should be able to get in almost anywhere.
