DO letter blues. Help anyone?

This really bites: I have a recommentdation from an MD in an academic setting, but no DO or MD letter from clinical setting, like the schools require.

Will the schools budge on this policy considerig high gpa and mcat? What can i do, besides wave goodbye to my dream career?

ask your MD reference if he knows anyone you could shadow. Shadow 3 or 4 times.

also could call your state Osteopathic assoc. to ask for a DO in your area.

You need to have some clinical experience, or at least shadowing.... I think the DMU secondary says something to that effect.

WoooHoooo!! I'm blessed cuz I start friday at nine am; a DO has agreed to take me along. Thanks guys for the encouragement! I hope 3 or 4 times does the trick, time to watch those ER episodes ive taped.
