I shadowed a family practice DO last year who recently moved across the country. He agreed to write me a letter before he left; however, I have a feeling this letter is going to fall through. I scribe for a DO in the ER and know they would write me a LOR; however, will a letter from the family practice DO that I shadowed carry more weight than one from the ER DO I work with?

A little reassurance or tough love from @Goro would be appreciated.

A DO is a DO is a DO. Why would you think that one has more weight than another?
