do med schools know about your status at other schools?

hi. does anyone know whether med schools admissions committees have access to information about where applicants stand at other schools???

yes they do, after May 15th.
 
do you think they know whether a rejection was pre or post-interview? do you think they know where you interviewed at?

I think that state schools may know stuff before May 15th. Sometimes people on adcoms are friends with other people on adcoms. You never know how much they could know!
 
I think all they know after May 15 is where else you're accepted. I'm pretty sure they don't really care where else you interviewed or whether you were rejected from other places pre- or post-interview.
 
I've been told by admissions staff when i was accepted that they know now, on a database of all accepted students in the US.
