Has anyone ever heard of their med school looking up a prospective student's political party affiliation during the application process??

Don't laugh. If they can (and do) look up credit reports, why not political party? Has this ever been done?

Hey man if your worried about your political party then why didn't you just register as independent. Obviously you aren't don't have enough belief that you are in the right party, also if a school does that and turns you down because of it, would you really want to be affiliated with such an institution?

...schools get about a gagillon applications each year...do you really think they care if you're a member of the 'Mr. Happy Chipmunk for President' party???

Whatever. Most of them don't even look at your whole application.

Don't diss the "Mr. Happy Chipmunk for President" party. Alvin the Chipmunk,a fiscal conservative, will be running in 2004 with his brother Simon as his running mate. Theodore will most likely be appointed to HHS-ousting Tommy Thompson.
