Do med schools screen out based on first MCAT while waiting for retake score

So I am taking the June 2 exam. First attempt was last August and score was under 500. Do I wait until my new score comes out in early July to submit AMCAS app for verification?

Will I be screened out by my first score or will schools send me secondaries based on gpa, ECs, etc?

Anyone been in this position? What should I do?

Submit to a throwaway school for verification then add in your target schools after your new score comes in.
