Ajl102 if you don't mind can you please tell me what schools you applied into and the one you got into and also your stats.
Thanks
I definitely agree that it's more about following your dream than getting into the "right" school, and I'm leaning towards going where I got in. Education is what you make of it, right?

I've just heard that Philadelphia U. is not as strong a program as Jefferson, and Jefferson was my #1 choice.
My stats:
Undergrad GPA: 3.78
Pre-req GPA: 3.9
Major: Sociology/English Lit.
GRE: Quant 134, Verbal 158, Writing 4 or 5 (can't remember)
Shadowing Hours: 50 with one geriatric site, 50 with a peds site
I've spoken to a few of the admissions counselors at the schools I applied to, and all said my GRE scores took me out of the game. So frustrating.
Schools I applied to:
Pitt (went there undergrad, too!) - rejected
Jefferson - rejected
NYIT - rejected
Philadelphia Univ. - accepted
Good luck, guys!!!
