Hello everyone it is my first time here :)

I want to send congrats to all the acceptees- good luck

I have a question on DO/MPH programs some schools offer
I am interested in doing both- primerally DO
I wanted to know if there is anyone that is in such a program and what do the think about it?
And do you think it is worth doing that program?
Thanks

I don't know if there are any combined programs, however there are 3 people in my class (myself included) who already have an MPH. I think the MPH is worthwhile, but it depends on what area you do your MPH in and what you want to do.

medicalgirl,

KCOM has a DO/MPH program and a couple of others that you could check into.

Nova Southeastern also has a combined DO/MPH program. As of right now, the MPH program is free (as long as you complete the combined program by the time you receive the DO degree, I believe). But from what I've heard, that may change within the next couple of years. Give them a call and ask for the details.

AZCOM has a DO/MPH program as well as a DO/master of Health Profession Education. I am sorry, but I don't know about the details (it's not for me), but if you call the school, or any for that matter,I am sure that they would be happy to help.
