Does it matter how old your prerequisite classes are? Will medical schools accept them regardless or do you have to repeat them after a certain time has passed?

There are no hard and fast rules. Ask the schools you are applying to. I would say that most don't care, as long as you have a recent MCAT to show you still know a thing or two.

yep contact the schools because I know for sure that Duke requires the pre-reqs science classes to be taken within 7 yrs of matriculation but still email the schools you are interested in......a decent MCAT score may help 🙂 to show that you still know the stuff and can handle it without taking the pre-reqs again.
