DO recognized outside US? If not, will it ever be?

    Various schools are involved with DOCARE- an international health care program. If the DO degree is not accepted internationally yet-- I imagine it will be shortly due, in great part, to our international involvement in providing quality health care.

    Personally, I think we should be recognized in THIS country.

    The AOA has had alot to do with making it difficult for DO's to succeed outside of the DO community. Handcuffing graduating seniors to a rotating internship or not granting pracitce rights in Mich, Fla, WV, Penn etc unless you do so is ridiculous.
