Do residencies ask for undergrad GPA and/or MCATs?

    Hi, I'm currently in undergrad and heading to med school next year. I heard that some residencies ask for undergrad GPA so I shouldn't relax too much. Is this true? Do residencies ever ask for MCAT scores?

    I have heard that some do ask for mcats. This is the first time I heard about gpas, though, and that's a good point not to slack off senior year! :)

    Most specialties don't ask for that info. However, I have heard that the early match specialties (ENT, neurosurgery, neurology, urology, integrated plastics, optho) as for college transcripts.
