    Hey guys,

I've been stressing over my chances, especially with the new MCAT. I feel like my best chances are "low tier" DO schools because I messed up not including shadowing/clinic volunteering on my AACOMAS, but I did on many of my secondaries that I've submitted. I thought this was something everyone did and not necessarily considered an activity (terrible mistake).

Stats are: cGPA 3.91, sGPA 3.91, 51% new MCAT (score: 500, which is ~25-26 on the old although that can be off since they're 2 diff exams), also IL resident

    My ECs include:
-Shadowing (current, though I did not include this on AACOMAS at the time, but I did on many secondaries)
-Community outreach president & former coordinator (current, very holistic experiences)
-Engineering support specialist for a pharmaceutical company (2 summers)
    -Chemistry teaching assistant (current)
-CPR-member of an Emergency Medical Services organization (current)
    -Histology Lab Assistant (2.5 years)
-Research at a College of Vet Med, became co-author for one article (only 1 year, as freshman)

-NEXT semester: Volunteering at underserved/underinsured clinic, I put these on the secondaries that asked about any updates since submitting AACOMAS.

I'm really hopeful for Midwestern Chicago since I'm an IL resident but their MCAT has been ~29.

The DO schools I applied to:
-Midwestern Chicago, Des Moines, Michigan State, Rocky Vista, Ohio Heritage, Philly, Philly Georgia, Kansas City, Pikeville, New England, Lincoln Memorial, William Carey, Touro Nevada, Lake Erie

    I appreciate any feedback!

You should be fine for DO interviews. Michigan and Ohio accept mainly their own state residents. You could add a few more schools such as MU-COM, ACOM, BCOM and VCOM (all 3 schools ).

I don't think that you're going to have much luck with CCOM or UNECOM. Add MUCOM to the list

Thanks for the feedback guys. I just added ACOM and BCOM. For MUCOM, I haven't taken sociology and I don't know if I will be able to by the time I graduate undergrad.
