do school take best section from multiple mcat?

if you take it mcat twice and some sections go down and others go up, will school take the best from each section? i've read on these forums of how they make first cuts by feeding into system that will flag anyone with a score lower than X in a section. how will multiple mcat be handled in that case?

different schools have different policies

MSAR and some school's websites explicitly state these policies for a number of programs, however, other places are a little bit more vague

basically, some places will only look at the most recent and others will look at both and look for improvement

i am not aware of any places that average the scores, but I suppose that is a possibility as well.
